The highlights of the Colorado Rockies are the 54 peaks over 14,000 feet which are referred to as “Fourteeners”. Central Colorado is often referred to as the Fourteeners Region because so many of 14ers are located here. This region is loaded with eclectic mountain towns.
Ski Cooper is located in the heart of the 14ers with Colorado's highest mountain, Mt. Elbert, always in visual range. And Mt. Massive is right next door to Mt. Elbert.
Ski Cooper is located just outside of Leadville Colorado and within 1 hour of some of the best known ski towns in Colorado. Use the links in the box to the left to find out more about Colorado's Fourteener Region.
